My current solution is less expensive. Why would I spend more? Loss of communication and data accessibility can translate to lost information, lost donors, inability to perform work, and unproductive staff. Technology is never free because the cost of downtime for a ‘good enough’ solution can be crippling. Plus, HD can do more than replace your current system.

Thin-clients: Imagine a computer that doesn’t crash, doesn’t get viruses, doesn’t have error messages, never needs to reboot, and has access to the latest software. Imagine that that same computer costs half, a third, or even a fourth the cost of your current desktop. You are imagining the thin-client. Thin-clients can be stand-alone, simply requiring a monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
